How to type Assamese in WhatsApp

WhatsApp is the most preferred messenger mobile app in the world today. With end-to-end encryption, currently WhatsApp has more than 1.5 billion users worldwide. As we use this app more and more, we definitely want to convey our message in our mother tongue which for most of us, (the people in Assam) is Assamese. How to change the language on WhatsApp on Android Device?

1. Open you Android phone’s Settings app.
2. Go to Languages & input.
3. Under Keyboard and input methods select the keyboard of your choice.

If you have already added another keyboard, you can access this by tapping on the globe in the bottom left corner of the keyboard.

How to change the language of my keyboard on WhatsApp on Apple Mobile?

If you would like to type messages in Assamese or any other languages you can add multiple keyboards on your Apple mobile device. To do so,

1. go to iPhone Settings
2. click on General
3. go to Keyboard
4. click on Keyboards
5. Tap on Add New Keyboard

If you have already added another keyboard, you can access this by tapping on the globe in the bottom left corner of the keyboard.

After you add the keyboard on your mobile device, now you can write Assamese in Whatsapp on your mobile. You can also change your keyboard from Assamese to English or vice versa by tapping on the globe in the bottom left corner of your keyboard.
