Buying computer, notebook, laptop or electronic gadgets in Guwahati or even any part of Assam can really be an ordeal if you do not search the right places. Most of the shops can take you for a ride if you do not compare the specifications and the price with others. Thus, the thought of doing some research before buying any electronic appliance is very essential! We have listed few steps for getting the best deal:
Finalize on two three models of different brands (Dell/Sony/HP etc) based on your budget and requirement. Do not head to any shop without doing your little research.
Compare the prices of these models online. Several web sites are there (including FLIPKART, SNAPDEAL, AMAZON etc. ) to check out the prices of different products. Actual prices will vary in shops, but only by five hundred to one thousand rupees. (Sometime they offer awesome deals less than offline or local stores but you need to read the fine prints in those offers such as some will offer less cache/ no graphic card etc..)
If you are still in a dilemma whether to buy a laptop WITH or WITHOUT any OS(free MS-DOS OS). This will reduce the cost of the laptop by 4k or so, and hence you can compensate the price in that way or use those to buy extra RAM or so.
